My go to for a leave night leaving south beach. Food is fast, fresh, tasty, and u can't beat the price!!!! It hadnt been yrs... we were leaving an event and decided to drop in and grab something to go. We got shrimp fried rice, chicken yakitori skewers, and 2 orders of spinach shitaki mushrooms. Everything tasted great. The staff was pleasant and efficient.

Phenomenal prices for Miami Beach. Very low key takeout spot (although they do have some tables for dining in) with rolls, noodle dishes, etc. Rolls are around $5-7 each and noodle dishes are around $8. Portion sizes are generous. I enjoyed the steak udon and the California roll but everything I had was pretty decent. The people working are friendly and they crank out orders pretty quickly. You really can't beat it for a sub-$15 lunch on Miami Beach, especially for reasonably good sushi. I would absolutely recommend this place and would visit again for an easy, inexpensive meal
I adore this place! Despite living an hour away, my family and I make the weekend drive to Florida just to indulge in our favorite sushi spot. The sushi rice is consistently cooked to perfection, with a delightful hint of sweetness. The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is unfailingly accommodating and friendly. Our visits here are always positive. There is a good amount of tables inside along with sushi bar seating, high tops and outdoor seating available. Love this place!
Sushi Express is one of my favorite Japanese Restaurant in South Beach. I like the Tofu Steak, Tako Yaki, Tuna Poke, and Spicy Dynamite Shrimps as appetizers. Volcano Roll, Emperor Nigiri Plate, Unagi Don, Chicken Katsu Don for my entree's. These are my personal favorites. They are all delicious! Service is great and the casual and cozy ambiance makes this restaurant a favorite among the locals and tourists. A must try if you're around South Beach!
My teenager was craving sushi so we decided to take a 20 minute walk over to Sushi express because it had the highest rating with two-dollar signs on google. Everything else closer to the beach had outrageous prices (as you'd expect). We took the sushi to go. The ordering process was easy and the cashier was very patient as I explained all the orders for every person in our party. They even put each person's sushi into an individual bag so we didn't have to separate on our own. Sushi was delicious and they gave more than enough soy sauce for what we ordered. Highly recommend!
No frills sushi takeout with the kindest staff. I always come here when I'm craving a quick sushi takeout. Their menu is extensive and the fish is fresh. They also have a dine in option but I wouldn't say there's much of an ambiance.
